About
Connecting global medicine with healthcare across Nepal.
We turn an international manufacturer’s product into a responsible route to Nepal — through registration, import, controlled handling, market development and distribution across the country.
Cytolix Labs Private Limited is a Nepal-based specialty pharmaceutical company engaged in the import, registration, marketing and distribution of high-value medicines across the country.
We were established around a specific observation. Nepal’s own manufacturers have built a real industry in a single generation and now supply close to half the national market. But the therapies our patients need most in oncology, kidney disease and critical care sit in a second tier — sterile oncology, biologics, complex injectables — that takes decades and enormous capital to build anywhere in the world. Those patients cannot wait for that. Our work is to bring those medicines in properly, now.
We work at the point where that gap is closed — between international manufacturers who make these medicines and the hospitals, treatment centres and pharmacies that dispense them.
What we do
- Register international medicines with Nepal’s Department of Drug Administration.
- Import and clear approved pharmaceutical consignments under applicable Cytolix licences and DDA recommendations.
- Store and transport products under controlled conditions, including cold chain.
- Coordinate distribution through 8 major centres and 42 sub-distribution channels serving institutions and licensed pharmacies.
- Support manufacturing partners through compliant scientific communication based on approved product information.
Leadership
Advocacy and commerce, in the same company.
Our leadership brings together two things that rarely sit together in a pharmaceutical distributor: long-standing patient advocacy inside Nepal’s chronic-disease community, and international pharmaceutical business.

Values
How we operate
- Quality — we verify credentials at product level, not by reputation.
- Integrity — transparency in every commercial and clinical dealing.
- Patient focus — every product is selected against whether it improves outcomes here.
- Commitment — we build markets rather than trade shipments.
Our story
Where this came from
Cytolix grew out of direct experience of what patients in Nepal cannot get. The treatments existed; they were not reliably available here, and where they were available they were often unaffordable. The company was founded to address the supply side of that problem.
