Patient access
A medicine creates value only when a patient can reach it.
Access means more than importing a product. It means dependable availability through the right care channel and a price that patients and families can sustain through long courses of treatment.
Access & affordability
Both halves of the problem
We work on availability and on price. Sourcing from manufacturers whose quality is verifiable but whose cost base allows a sustainable price is the main lever we control, and it is why our sourcing strategy looks the way it does.
CKD community initiative
Where this company started
Cytolix’s founder has worked with Nepal’s chronic kidney disease community for more than fifteen years, and founded a national patient-support organisation with a network of over 45,000 patients. That work has involved coordinating with government departments on patient welfare and contributing to healthcare benefit reforms in favour of CKD patients.
It also explains why nephrology sits at the centre of what we do commercially rather than at the edge. The company exists because the advocacy ran into a supply problem.
Patient support
If you are looking for a medicine
We are a distributor rather than a pharmacy, so we cannot sell directly to patients or advise on treatment. What we can do is help you find out whether a product we distribute is available and where to obtain it.
Contact patients@cytolix.com or +977 981-009-2771.
Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist about any question concerning your treatment.
A Nepali-language patient information service is planned.
